

Oto's marketplace originated in 1959 when Ted Oto opened Ted's Meats in Vina Vista Market on 14th Avenue in Sacramento, specializing in offering the finest meats and freshest fish in Sacramento. Upon Ted's retirement, he handed down his skill to his son Michael.
Michael carry's on Ted's trade and continues to demand the highest quality of meats and poultry available. Depending on time of year, you can find the following high quality meats and poultry at Oto's: Estancia Grass-fed all natural beef, Naturewell all natural Black Angus beef, Berkshire Kurobuta, vegetable-grain fed, free range, non-GMO Smart Chicken, Kobe Washu Gyu Beef, Meister sausages and assorted Portuguese sausages.
Our Kobe Wagyu and USDA Prime cuts of beef are dry-aged in a temperature controlled case and cut and sold to order.

Some of the seasonal fish and shellfish you'll find at Oto's include: wild Alaskan salmon, wild Alaskan halibut, wild black cod, wild Mahi Mahi, wild Yellow Fin tuna and wild or farmed Blue Fin tuna. You will always find at least three different varieties of oysters in the shell along with other available shell fish.
All our Sushi grade fish are cut into blocks so you can easily slice them into sushi or sashimi pieces.
